This policy explains what data we collect when you visit our website or contact us, why we collect it, and your rights over it. It is written to meet the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Who we are
El-Etimad Group is the controller of your data on this website. The group includes El-Etimad Co. for Medical Equipment, Isen Pharma and El-Etimad Scientific Bureau.

What we collect
- Messages you send us. When you use the contact form, email, WhatsApp or phone, we receive what you send: name, organisation, email, phone number and message. The website form stores nothing; it opens your own email app so you send the message yourself.
- Technical data. Our web server automatically logs your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time, for security and to run the site.
- Your privacy choice. We store it in your browser so we do not ask on every visit.
We do not use advertising cookies and we do not sell your data.
Why we use it, and the legal basis
- To answer your enquiry and prepare quotes: steps taken at your request before a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
- To run and secure the website and follow up business relationships: our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- YouTube videos and visit statistics: only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
Who we share it with
- Companies within the group, where needed to answer your request.
- Manufacturers we represent, only when your enquiry concerns their products and it is needed for a quote or service.
- Service providers working for us, such as hosting and email.
- WhatsApp (Meta) when you contact us there, and YouTube (Google) if you allow videos, under their own policies.
Transfers outside the EU
We are based in Iraq, with offices in Jordan and the UAE, so your data may be processed outside the European Economic Area. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We follow the storage limitation principle (GDPR Art. 5(1)(e)). We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected: to answer your enquiry, to manage any business relationship that follows, to meet any legal obligations that apply to us, and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. When it is no longer needed, we delete it or securely anonymise it.
- Technical data logged by our server is kept for a limited period for security purposes only, and then deleted automatically.
- Your privacy choice is stored in your own browser, not by us, for at most 12 months, and you can clear it at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its processing, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw your consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. Write to info@el-etimad.com and we will reply within one month. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority in your country.
